November 11, 2008 - Booksearch is broken!  The host site. EasyCGI.com, for Booksearch has migrated us to a new server which currently does not support the application.   I am trying to convince them that taking this action without prior notice is a bad business practice.   I'll keep you posted of developments here. 

November 15 Update:  EasyCGI technicians say that they are still "workng on the problem".    As an interim solution, I have created a "quick and dirty" version of the search program that will run on your computer.  You will need to download the program and the searchable file for your school.  They are available from http://delphiforfun.org/booksearch/downloads.htm.   Let me know at booksearch@delphiforfun.org if you try this and have problems. 

November 16 Update:  Bad news.  EasyCGI has decided to no longer support executable files so the online search program is dead for now.  Try the version above which will run on your computer.  The program and search files for each school will continue to be available for download for the foreseeable future.    I will be contacting enrolled schools with further discussion of options for continued support here or  locally.   EasyCGI has apologized to me for the foul-up, so, for what it's worth,  I pass that apology along to you.

November 19 Update: Version 2 of the DeskARSearch program is available for download and testing.  It adds the "print" capability and an option to check against an online search file to verify that the local search file being used is the latest version.
